Literature Text

I am a childless mother,
I'm waiting for my time.
My daughter isn't here.
Imaginary fear.
My son has passed so long ago.

Things I've lost,
Things I know.
Crow chases butterfly,
Nectar gone again.
Butterfly tries to defeat,
But Crow quite often wins.

The blood that quills,
Comes from me now.
A pity they all say.
They don't know the feeling.
From this kind of tragedy.

The smell of baby powder,
Reminds me of my youth.
Deeper then the meaning.
Of doing what you do.

Doctor says he's sorry.
Stillborn once again.
Hurry to emergency.
Abortion is a sin.
I can't say the words now.
Causes much distress.

Edema in your legs and,
No suckling from breast.

Tell me all your secrets God,
The reason for this stuff.
Why make women suffer so?
Why make men so tough?

I am a childless mother,
I'm waiting for my time.
My daughter isn't here.
Imaginary fear.
My son has passed so long ago.
